Samuelsohn 1923 Black Label

To mark the 90th anniversary of the company, Samuelsohn developed a new line of tailored clothing under their Samuelsohn 1923 Black Label. Their jackets remain full canvased, but Samuelsohn found a premium horsehair canvas to use for this line. Additionally, they’ve added genuine horn buttons, a boutineer hole and loop under the lapel, and a range of exclusive fabrics.

My first real suit was made to measure by Samuelsohn. I love it. I am looking forward to seeing the Black Label in person. For those who don’t know, Samuelsohn makes the main line for Paul Stuart, including many of the pieces that make up the Phineas Cole line. Great quality, and a great price.

Dressing well only really requires two aspects:

1.) Good shoes(good in this case means appropriate).

2.) A proper frame for the face.

Everything in between can be whatever you would like. That is of course if it doesn’t detract from numbers 1 and 2.
